Weddings - Wedding Plan - Wedding Planner Tools - Ten Essential Tips
October 31, 2008
Getting Married? Congratulations! You just set the date for the most important day in your life. Your wedding day. Imagine…It is your wedding day. Your very own wedding day! It will be fun.
Here are ten essential steps that will make the preparation fun too.
1. Keep within your financial limits. Budget your wedding. You do not want to start your married life in debt. If you are organized have a plan and are creative, whatever your budget, a “wedding to remember” will be yours.
2. Now Visualize. That’s right, visualize. Close your eyes and look at the tasks at hand. The list may SEEM overwhelming but it isn’t.
3.Don’t try to do everything all at once. Start by gathering information. Use the Net to gather ideas from around the world. Make an extensive list of “things you LIKE”, “things you WANT” and “things you MUST HAVE” (see the difference?)
4. Now you are ready to make a Top Ten (or top eleven or twelve) list.
5. Break your list it into small manageable portions that you can successfully accomplish. Use categories like… Before the wedding - During the wedding - After the wedding.
How to Get Free Money to Save for Your Child’s College Education

How to Get Free Money to Save for Your Child’s College Education
by: Angela McKenzie
Did you know that a college educated person will earn 2.5 times more over a lifetime than someone without a post secondary education? College educated people are more likely to keep their jobs when times are tough and are more likely to be working than those without a post secondary education. Now getting an education can be expensive. One year in a Canadian degree program such as an arts and science program can easily cost $5000/year. If you are an out of province student, the extraneous expenditures can easily increase your education costs by $3000/school year.
To help pay for future education cost, the Government of Canada has taken great initiative to ensure that every Canadian child will have the funds necessary to get an education by providing families with free government grants. The free grant was introduced in 1998 to encourage parents to start saving for their children’s education costs.
How does the program work?
Looking To Join A Dating Site?
October 29, 2008
Searching the web for a dating or personals site can leave one very confused. There are millions of dating sites listed on the Internet. My search of the word “dating” on Google resulted in 56,200,000 results! Talk about a tough decision.
Let me give you some pointers and advice.
Currently, I am a Webmaster of a few dating sites as well as dating referral sites. I have seen all the styles of personal sites. They all follow pretty much the same format with a few variations. Sure, there are some great free dating sites, as well as some terrible ones. The same holds true for pay dating sites. Now, as a Webmaster, let me assure you of one thing, all us webmasters are promoting dating sites for one thing…money.
Now, don’t get me wrong, but I could put up a decent free dating site, and allow members to join my dating site for free. I would just post some ads or banners, and offer to sell something, which might be of interest. Then, hopefully, I would generate enough revenue off these sales to support the site. Kind of a traffic generator.
What Your Kid Really Wants For Christmas

What Your Kid Really Wants For Christmas
by: James Brown
The day is long gone that all any kid really wants for Christmas is their two front teeth! Chances are that high on the list will be a new cell phone, a PS2, iPod Nano or one of the many competing MP3 players, a digital camera, or indeed the latest clutch of computer games. The choice of gifts seems to grow each year, with even a three dimensional pool table making an appearance this year! For those whose kids can’t be pried away from the TV maybe the new OC in a Tin board game may be the answer, or even The Price is Right interactive DVD game?
The sheer range of gift ideas is staggering and tracking them down in the store is a real chore. When you couple this with the truly fickle nature of kid’s crazes and the ever present peer pressure factor, then trying to select what is right for the kids in your life can be a daunting and expensive process—nevertheless, did you know that you can get online coupons that can help you cut down on the expenses this Christmas?
Create Unique Wedding Invitations That Only Look Expensive
October 27, 2008
Save a substantial amount of money on invitations, without sacrificing quality, by making them yourself using your computer. It’s easy and fun to create distinctive invitations, at a price you can afford, by layering fine printable paper over a heavyweight card and fastening them together with a unique embellishment.
Start by choosing heavy cover stock for the background. A wide variety of papers are available in many distinctive colors and textures — try the new shimmering metallics, printed cards with subtle designs, or handmade paper embedded with real flower petals.
Next, choose the paper you will print on to layer on top of the background card. Select from translucent vellum to reveal the colored stock beneath, or a crisp opaque white for contrast against darker backgrounds. Be sure your chosen paper is compatible with the printer you will be using; a laser printer or copier is recommended. However, water resistant inkjet ink is available or you could use an inkjet printer to create the artwork, then photocopy it onto the overlay. Add your text and any desired graphics, experimenting with different fonts and sizes to design a unique custom look. You can use various methods to fasten the printed overlay to the background card. A faux wax seal could be used to bind the papers together for a sophisticated look; for pure romance, tie them together with sheer chiffon ribbon. For a unique touch, add a small metal charm or use a dainty crush- proof flower.
The Money Tree

The Money Tree
by: Thaddeus Collins
All my life I have heard people wish they had a money tree growing in the back yard when they were in a bad financial situation, but in reality most people do have a money tree! The money tree is their brains, and how they can use their knowledge and experiences to increase their wealth.
In an analogy I compared the money tree to an actual live growing tree, it first starts with a seedling, or in other words an idea. As with any thing that grows it needs the right soil or environment to grow, so surround your money tree with positive influences that will give it a solid foundation.
Trees need a lot of light and fresh air to grow, so give you money tree a source of fresh ideas and always keep an open mind when growing your tree. Think of your money as a real tree that is growing in your yard, think of all the environmental factors that can help your tree grow, or keep it from growing.
Online Dating - Confidence Builder
October 26, 2008
Most of us have different levels of confidence. I’m sure you have met a variety of confident types. I’m just as sure, that all of us have had our own confidence shaken once or twice. I know I have.
In relationships most of us have different degrees of confidence. There were times I felt like I could do no wrong and other times I couldn’t do anything right. The ups and downs of relationships are still a mystery to me. I don’t have all the answers, but most of us have in common some the same feelings: the hope when you see someone you can’t take your eyes off of; the anticipation of being on a first date; the moment when you kiss; the bliss of love; and also: the slap when someone says no; the hopelessness when someone walks away, the emptiness when someone you love cheats on you and so on. We all have been their.
Selecting the Perfect Wedding Gift for the Bride and Groom
October 25, 2008
One of the most memorable days in our lives is when two people commit their love to one another through marriage. Wedding gifts are traditionally offered to the newlyweds as tokens of affection and love as well as a means to provide the new couple with starter home supplies.
In days of old, couples did not live together until they were married. After being wed, the two typically would start building their lives together, including moving into their own home and starting their own family. Wedding gifts allowed friends and family of the pair to provide the newlyweds with some much needed home supplies and gifts of good luck and fortune that hopefully the couple would carry with them for many years. In colonial times, traditional wedding gifts might include home made quilts, food and perhaps even furniture for the new home.
In contemporary times, more and more couples are marrying after having lived together for many years. While many wedding gifts still have a characteristic theme of supplying the new couple with home goods, a majority of couples already have much of the things they would need to supply a new home. Thus, wedding gifts have taken on a sentimental twist. Many wedding gifts today embody creative themes that take into consideration the personality and lifestyle of the couple being wed. Personalized wedding gifts are a popular selection among many guests. Some wedding gifts incorporate photos of the husband and wife in their single days.
